Force Fleet Tracking TrakView is a 4G LTE dual-facing dashcam.
Once your Force Fleet Tracking TrakView dashcam is mounted and connected to your vehicle’s power, it will continuously record video onto its SD memory card while vehicle is on. It will also automatically record event clips, including disturbances, harsh brakes, and speeding (see list below).
You can also manually capture or create clips, either by pressing the camera record button or using the Live Recording function in the Force dashboard. See How to make a clip from a trip for details on creating clips from a trip.
The micro SD card included is 256GB, which typically allows for the storage of 100 hours of event clips before clips start to be overwritten (starting from the oldest). Depending on the clip type, clip length is 15, 30, or 60 seconds.
Captured clips will include both the outside view and in-cabin view of the dashcam. The default setting for audio recording (of the vehicle interior) is off. This can be changed via the Preferences section in your Force dashboard.
Some clip types are automatically transferred from the dashcam to your clips library while others need to be transferred using your Force dashboard. Because the camera will eventually overwrite older clips, you should periodically transfer clips that you wish to retain.
Each dashcam plan includes 30 minutes of data transfer per month. (We will soon be introducing additional data plans.) All clips transferred from dashcam to your clips library will count toward your monthly total.
